Bill Vinck is a respected entrepreneur and businessman. Bill joined Chapman Associates after a 30 year successful career. Bill has a broad international background in general, operational and technical management with firms such as AIG, SC Johnson Wax and Philips. His career began in the US Steel industry with Inland Steel, National Steel, and Midwest Steel.
Moving to Chrysler Motors, he worked on the integration of a number of acquisitions including AMC, Maserati and Lamborghini. At S.C. Johnson Wax, Bill was the Head of Worldwide Information Systems and led the completion of the integration of the Drackett Company systems in 37 days.
He was the first VP and CIO of AIG and IT Director for Philips in the Netherlands. Returning to the US, Bill joined Omnipoint Communications, a wireless start-up, as the Operating Officer. Upon the sale of that company, he joined VelocityHSI as EVP and COO.
He was head of Strategic Planning for Discover the World Marketing, a global GSA, where he also ran the Latin American and Australian operations. He was one of the original members of G3, a national management consulting firm.
His consulting and industry assignments have spanned steel manufacturing, automobile manufacturing, healthcare start-ups, travel, hospitality and leisure, finance and insurance, wireless telecommunications, multi-family housing and banking.
His academic background includes an MBA from the University of Chicago in economics as well as an MA and PhD in Philosophy from DePaul University in Chicago. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors of the School of Hospitality Management, DePaul University, Chicago, IL. He has traveled extensively and has lived and worked in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Bill is a former Marine, with two deployments: diplomatic security in Latin America and combat operations. He has a 2nd degree black belt in Korean Tae Kwon Do and is proficient in Krav Maga. He resides in Tucson, Arizona with his wife, has 4 adult children.
