Joseph C. Denny Joseph is Vice President at Chapman Associates, advising lower middle market businesses on mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Joseph specializes in representing family-owned and founder-led businesses in the transportation, manufacturing, IT, and food & beverage industries.

After earning his MBA with Honors and Concentration in Finance from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, Joseph began his career at an investment house, and has previous experience in consulting, sales, and leadership roles. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Illinois State University.

Joseph began his tenure at Chapman Associates working alongside his father, who led the firm for decades. Since his father’s passing, Joseph has stepped into a leadership role, working closely with the operations to strengthen Chapman’s service model while upholding the firm’s legacy of trust, integrity, and results.

With a strong focus on relationship-building and long-term outcomes, Joseph is committed to helping business owners navigate the complexities of exit planning and strategic growth. His experience spans buy-side and sell-side advisory, due diligence coordination, and deal execution.

Outside of the office, Joseph is an avid outdoorsman with a love for adventure. His personal interests include golf, hockey, snowboarding (Level I avalanche procedure and rescue certified), mountain biking, mountaineering, scuba diving, and travel.
