Graham Morrison
Managing Director
Graham Morrison is a respected entrepreneur, businessman and financial executive. Graham has had success in industries spanning financial services, consumer goods manufacturing and distribution and management consulting. With a strong background in private equity and venture capital, he has combined broad finance, operations and IT experience with years in sales and sales leadership. He has experience in investing in, operating and divesting closely held businesses.
Graham grew his family’s business, SAMPCO INC from $60 million in sales to over $300 million in a period of 5 years, culminating in a buyout by an overseas conglomerate. As a principal at Insightful Capital Management Graham managed a diverse investment portfolio across multiple asset classes for this private investment firm. He conducted analysis and valuation of both equity and debt investments and performed extensive financial modeling, analysis and projections while overseeing company operations.
Graham has experience with debt and equity investments in privately held companies. Graham has served as a consultant and advisor to several startups and growing ventures. Graham has sold two companies that he owned and advised in several other transactions.
Graham’s experience with closely held businesses help him understand our clients’ emotional, financial and business considerations in M&A transactions. Graham has real world experience with the challenges facing business owners in today’s environment.
Graham has practical experience in Sales, Finance, Management, Strategy, IT implementation, Corporate Transactions, and New Venture Startups.
Graham earned his BA degree in Government and Economics from Claremont McKenna College, and MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Graham and his family live in Naperville Illinois. Graham is a competitive amateur golfer with a plus handicap. Graham enjoys guitar, reading and travel. He is active in his church and community.
